Hello! My name is Tux, and when you see me, you will know why! I am a short

haired black and white tuxedo cat. I am a sucker for attention! I was brought to

the shelter by some very kind ladies that took me in when my owners moved

from their neighborhood and left me behind. They took me to the vet because

I didn't have much hair. That's when they found out that I have something called

F.A.D. or flea allergy dermatitits. This isn't a big deal as long as I don't get those

nasty fleas on me! If I get just one bite, I go crazy with itchies! I will scratch myself until I lose my hair, then keep scratching! So it is important that I am kept on flea prevention if there is any possibility of me getting fleas (if you happen to have a dog). I am a very sweet guy and just love to be loved. I am a special guy because I am FIV positive. Please don't let this deter you. FIV is not a death sentence for me and is not something that you can catch from me. It is a viral disease that can only be transmitted through a deep puncture bite wound or you can get it, usually temporarily, from the mother cat.
